There are lots of ways to help

Whether you're young or old, a seasoned gardener or novice, interested in nature or history, there are lots of ways you can to help - from joining a workday in the park, to picking up litter or helping us delve into the park's history. We also need your help in spotting problems in the park, including trip hazards, broken steps and benches and other maintenance issues, and reporting these to the City Council. Or you can help fund our activities in the park with a small annual donation - click here to visit our donation page.

Reporting problems in the park

Winchester City Council is responsible for park maintenance and management, including carrying out any urgent repairs needed as these arise.

To report any maintenance and safety  issues, we recommend using the "Your Winchester" app on your mobile device - it's by far the easiest way to report problems to the Council.

Alternatively, you can visit the reporting page of the Council's website by clicking the button below. If you haven't used the system before, you'll first need to create an account and sign in. You can then enter "report" into the search field. to bring up a list of issues on which users can file reports. Scroll down to "Park Areas," select and enter information required as directed.

Become a Park Friend!

Please use the form, below, to get in touch with us and sign-up as a Friend of the Park. You can let us know what activities you might like to take part in, any particular areas of interest, and sign up to receive future updates and invitations to events (we promise not to bombard you!) There's no subscription fee and no obligation involved

We will typically contact you only by email - the request for your mobile phone number is just for back-up purposes or in case we need in future to text event participants about a change of plan etc.
