Joining one of our Friends' Working Parties in the Park is a great way to help improve our Park, get some fresh air and exercise and meet new people (and perhaps catch up with old friends!) Tasks include ground clearance, path clearance, ivy removal, weed control and boundary repairs.

About The Event

Meeting: 10am on 11 and/or 18 September at the junction of Northbrook Avenue and Baring Road at 10am. Feel free to turn up - no need to register in advance!

Main tasks: Clearing paths and fencing, controlling ivy and undergrowth, and carrying out minor repairs as needed. Briefing and allocation of tasks will be addressed on the day.

What to bring:  We will have some tools on hand but please, if you can, bring your own. Most useful tools: loppers and secateurs. Please also bring protective items, especially gloves, goggles and knee pads.

Weatherwise: Please wear weather-suitable gear! To note: Working Parties generaly go ahead rain or shine, but will be called off in case of especially poor weather.
